What is Reiki?
“Rei” means universal. “Ki” means life force or life energy. So, Reiki means universal life force or universal life energy. It is an ancient Japanese modality of energy work that promotes relaxation, healing, overall wellness, and growth in every facet of life.
Nijeria's Credentials
Nijeria is an Advanced Reiki Practitioner. She has obtained her First Degree, Second Degree and Third Degree (Part A) certification through the Reiki Sanctuary of Northern Virginia under Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Yvonne Gleason.
Nijeria is trained in the Usai modality of Reiki and is able to provide in-person and distance Reiki healing, basic Animal Reiki Healing, as well as space and Aura Cleansing. She is also well versed in Mindfulness Meditation which not only enhances her practice but allows her to provide customized Guided Meditations.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki is universal energy that comes from a Source or Higher Power through the practitioner by "laying hands" on or above the recipient. Energy flows through the practitioner onto and into the recipient to balance his/her/their chakras thus promoting a healing effect.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is non-invasive, gentle, and never harmful. It can shift a recipient’s energy to a more uplifting state allowing for positive change in daily life. Reiki allows for a deepening of the loving connection between self and a higher power. It can be incorporated into daily living and intends nothing but the highest best outcome for the recipient.
What can I expect after the session?
Even though Reiki is a non-invasive treatment, some people experiences headaches, fatigue, weakness or nausea following treatment.
General Reiki Session
Using the Usai modality of Reiki, Nijeria will balance the energy in each of your chakras, from head to toe. She will start with a brief meditation leading into Reiji-ho (a statement of intent) and then beginning your session. During the session, she will move through your entire body balancing each of your energy points. This can be done either hands on or through beaming (a few inches above the body). After your initial reiki scan, Nijeria will conduct a Byosen Scan, a method for identifying areas with severe imbalance so that she can then focus on those areas. finally, your session will end with a brief closing statement of gratitude and she will perform Kenyoku (dry bathing), a way of cleansing and renewing our energy.

Reiki Sacral Chakra Healing
Using the Usai modality of Reiki, Nijeria will balance the energy in each of your chakras, from head to toe and then focus on the Sacral Chakra. The Sacral Chakra is located about two inches below the navel and corresponds with our ovaries or testicles. It symbolizes desire, pleasure, reproduction, creativity, intimacy and/or connection to others. It also assists in our will to feel and to be emotional. When the Sacral Chakra is out of balance, you may notice that your reproductive organs, bladder, large and small intestines, and/or appendix have been affected. This can lead to sex repression, inhibitions, control issues, holding on to old relationships, kidney and spleen disorders, the feeling of being unfulfilled, difficulty recovering from abuse, fertility and sexual issues.

Reiki Aura Clearing
Nijeria will first focus on clearing your Aura using a special technique to identify and lift negative energies. Aura Clearing is a technique developed at The International Center for Reiki Training used in combination with Reiki to remove blockages and psychic negative energy from within or around a person, place, or thing. This method is helpful for those who suffer from illnesses, dysfunctions, and past/present trauma. Then, using the Usai modality of Reiki, Nijeria will balance the energy in each of your chakras, from head to toe. She will move through your entire body balancing each of your energy points. This can be done either hands on or through beaming (a few inches above the body).

Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?

How do I schedule my appointment?
Upon purchasing your session, you'll be prompted to create an account if you don't already have one. After set up, you'll see your first Milestone in which you will receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
YES. Since all sales are final, you can reschedule if you have a personal conflict or you are found to be ineligible for services at this time.
What is the "In-Person Travel Fee"?
If you're interested in an in person reiki session instead of distance, this fee covers the cost of gas and transporting all of my materials. This add-on is only available for this living in the Roanoke, New River Valley, and Martinsville/Henry County areas.
Can I purchase more than one session?
Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of more sessions, simply purchase the session again. I also put recommendations for extra or more advanced Reiki session in your treatments notes. I don't recommend purchasing more than one session until AFTER your initial session.
Are there discounts for returning customer?
YES! Returning customers receive a $20 off coupon that they can use each time they purchase a session (regardless of type) after their initial session purchase. This coupon is delivered along with their treatment notes after their session has been completed.
Is Reiki considered a medical or mental health treatment modality?
NO. Reiki is not a replacement for medical and/or mental health treatment and should be treated as an aid to care. Clients should advise their Primary Care Physician and/or Mental Health Professional before treatment if there are any concerns or risks. The methods utilized by Sexhale Coaching do not guarantee results. If you are found to be ineligible for treatment, you will be provided with a referral to the appropriate provider(s).
Is there paperwork to fill out?
YES. Since this an holistic treatment modality, it requires intake paperwork just like therapy and medical treatment.
What if I am religious?
Reiki is NOT a religion, it is a practice. When Nijeria sets her intention before starting her scan, she calls upon many Higher Powers. You can specify what Higher Power you'd like for her to call upon, if needed in the intake paperwork. We also recommend doing your own research and speaking with a spiritual leader in your religious practice regarding whether Reiki is right for you.
